The Roots Annual 4th of July Jam in Philadelphia!!

Once again, The Roots shut down Benjamin Franklin parkway to bring the good folks of Philadelphia a star-studded artist line up!! With performances by Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Hudson, and Nicki Minaj, Philly natives got a real holiday treat! BASSic Black Entertainment CEO, Adam Blackstone teams up with Questlove (The Roots) to serve as Musical Director for the event.

BASSic Black Entertainment was ALL OVER the BET Awards!!

The 2014 BET Awards was full of celebrity presenters, amazing surprises and great performances! BASSic Black CEO, Adam Blackstone, made sure the company was very well represented throughout the night. From programming the live show tracks for Pharrell and Jennifer Hudson to performing LIVE on stage with Nicki Minaj!! With the help of musical vets Darek Cobbs, Clay Sears, Devine Evans, as well as The Regiment Horns and Digital Zero, LLC, BBE was able to create performance tracks that kept the audience on their feet!

Ed Sheeran performs “Sing” on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon! With his sophomore album hitting stores June 23, Ed Sheeran is making his rounds to get the ball rolling! Produced by the “Happy” singer and grammy award winning songwriter Pharrell Williams, “Sing” is the latest single off the upcoming album!

Ed will also be performing at The Roots’ 4th of July Jam in Philadelphia with Jennifer Hudson, Aloe Blacc, and BBE client Nicki Minaj!!
